I first heard of you after the Dallas Cowboys last appeared in a
Super Bowl in Atlanta in 1995. Troy Aikman and others were raving on
the news about the show you put on and I have wanted to see one of
your concert shows ever since. Well, Saturday night May 20th I got
the chance at the Grapevine Main Street Art Festival in Grapevine
Texas. Your show was everything and more than anyone has ever
described. You picked up two fans with my wife and I, throw in my
cousin and you have 3.
Your show absolutely rocks from beginning to end. Can't wait to see
you perform again and for anyone who hasn't seen you LIVE
they are really missing a happening.

HiJason,Jennifer,What a great show you did for us at The Wildest Cats in Town in England, what a wild show. It was a real pleasure to meet you and the band and have fondest memories of the eight of us travelling up to gig in my old cadillac. I have some great photos of you, I could send them to you if you give me your address? Regards to Kendal and T. Rockin' regards Andy Munday (sharp as a tack!) PS Next time I see you you'll play with two hands! I have never before seen such a piano player as yourself! As I have seen the greats.

I used to watch Jason D. at them Minnesotal State Fair years ago. He was by far the best act they had and the stands were always packed. My wife and I saw numerous shows and got to visit with Jason many times. Those were back in the days of Miss Joyce and Jonas (his old bass player). One interesting note...the most enjoyable experience we ever had was one evening after the show where Jason checked into his hotel in St. Paul. He invited us over for a "lobby" concert. It had to be about midnight before it even started, but the whole place was "hoppin" and we got to spend some quality time with Jason. What a memory.

I saw JD at the 6th annual Boogie Woogie Festival last Saturday Night in Detroit. The should of called it the "Rockin Jason D Williams Festival". He single handed (or single foot, or nose... what ever he was using to play the piano at the time) saved the night. Thanks Jason for curing my boogie woogie blues! I too saw you at the Boogie-Woogie Festival in Detroit. I was more-or-less enjoying the program, but when you came on, it was all over! Man oh man, I have never seen anything like you! Someone has already said that you saved the show, and I say a hearty AMEN to that! I am well into middle age, and not a very demonstrative person by nature, but I have to tell you, you had me jumping around like an idiot, I was so taken with your performance. Not just you, but the fellows playing with you. Your drummer was by far the best I have ever seen, as were your bass and guitar players. I could have listened to you all night and the next day too! I cannot wait for another opportunity to see you perform. Come back to Michigan (or Ohio, Indiana, Illinois - I'll drive....)Thanks for a memorable evening!

Back a few years ago, a friend put a short clip of Jason D onto a cassette he lent me. I followed it up by watching him several times on TV and was totally amazed at his great talent, rockin' style, great sense of humour (Canadian spelling)and enthusiasm for what he did. I have tried to locate as many pieces of music as possible for my enjoyment and greatly enjoy his pounding rhythms. My favourite (Canadian spelling) song by Jason D is Goin' Down to Memphis. I certainly hope that I will have an opportunity to see this great talent live sometime in the near future. Best of luck, Jason and keep those keys apounding!

Hi Jason, we met briefly at 'The Wildest Cats...' in Pakefield last summer. It was a pleasure to meet you and Jennifer & I hope you are both doing ok. As I told you, I originally heard about you from my friend Judy Williams from New Albany who tries to get to your concerts at Ballys in Tunica whenever she can - often with Emanuelle & Will McDaniel. Just thought I'd send you a short message from England, as I am listening to the album while taping it for a friend's birthday. I played it to her last summer and she went nuts over it. (I knew she would - she has great musical taste). I've tried to tape it for her before but the tape always runs out during St Louis Blues medley - her second favourite track -and I am too lazy (or too tight!) to go out and buy a 120 minute tape. Like you she loves Crazy Arms. We tried to get Jerry Lee to play it in Wolverhampton(near Birmingham UK)last year but he ignored our pleas. However I guess we were lucky as we got almost 45 minutes of Jerry Lee, and Chuck Berry was on the bill too. So anyway I wanted to tell you why I love the album and why it is one of my favourite albums of all time. I love 'Standing on a Rock' because I like the sentiments expressed (I used to work for Greenpeace) and you sing with such sincerity. Oh and I absolutely love 'Oakie From Muskogie'- Joe Williams must have had a great sense of irony, and you certainly sing it with tongue in cheek! Your piano riffs on track 7b & c just send me! I forget who wrote the songs - maybe it was Pete Seeger? I guess it was one of the 'folkies'. It's what I love about your choice of song, its so eclectic and definitely reflects your own wide musical preferences. The St Louis Blues medley is sheer genius, and in its own way it's as great as Miles Davis. (Do you also like John Coltrane?) So anyway, congratulations to you, your musicians, technicians etc. In my opinion you have produced a masterpiece.

Jason, I am the Uncle of Michelle Harbour (her maiden name). Her parents are Charles and Julia Harbour. Charles is my brother. Charles tells me that you and Michelle were friends in El Dorado High School. Charles and I both are 1957 grads of El Dorado HS. I still enjoy the "oldies" in my second child-hood!
Michelle lives in Baton Rouge, LA. I really enjoy your piano playing...what a talent you have. I just returned from Lipsey's Hamburger and saw your picture on the wall that you had sent them. I will be ordering your CD shortly. How about autographing it for me, would like to show it off to my little ole brother. :-) Thanking you in advance.
